I ❤️ York! Let's face it, what's not to love about this beautiful city? The picturesque cobbled streets, stunning medieval architecture, and the majestic York Minster create a beautiful and enchanting cityscape that captivates both residents and visitors.

I've been lucky not just to live in York, but to work within the city as well, I spent a year working as Head of Development at Twelve Oaks Software right in the city centre, a bespoke software development company. I was responsible for the UK and Ugandan development team, consisting of around 12 developers and reporting directly to the CEO. 

I am an active member of the York Developers meetup groups, this is a charity that brings together the local tech community to support and foster innovation and collaboration. We host regular events providing a platform for developers, designers, and tech enthusiasts to share knowledge, showcase projects, and get to know each other. Meetups by the group feature expert talks, hands-on workshops, and hackathons. Anybody is welcome, as is the York way!
